UNDERSTANDING PART NUMBERS:
01 The last two alpha characters in module part numbers refer only to the date of manufacture and are completely interchangeable with each other.
02 The presence or absence of a leading zero as the first character in the part number is not significant. It may appear on your old module with or without a leading zero.
03 If your old module, or one recommended by a dealership, begins with "RL," this simply means that the original manufacturer rebuilt the module, or that the dealer offers an OEM-rebuilt version instead of the original. In these cases, the first two numeric digits may have been replaced with "RL," meaning "rebuilt," with no functional difference.
04 Your old module may show a "P" or "P/N" in front of the part number. This is simply a field heading on the label meaning "Part Number" and is not significant.

1-Year Warranty

Every product we sell — new, rebuilt, and repair services — carries a 1-year limited warranty against defects in MAKS materials and workmanship. Coverage begins on the date your order is delivered and runs for one year. If warranty service is required, the customer must send the unit to MAKS for evaluation and repair. MAKS will repair the unit under the terms of our warranty policy. The warranty covers integral failures of the item we supplied. The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and the vehicle in which the unit was first installed. We do not offer lifetime coverage.

↺ Core Returns No Upfront Core Charge

At MAKS, we don’t charge a core fee upfront, giving you peace of mind and added flexibility. Instead, we operate on an exchange basis, which means you will need to return your old module (the core) using the return label that came with your shipment to send back your core.
Because no core charge is collected initially, there is no credit issued when the core is returned. The return simply fulfills the exchange requirement.
 
↻ Rental Return 30-Day Rental Conversion Option

Sometimes after you purchase a TIPM, you discover the real problem was not in the TIPM and you just needed it for troubleshooting. With TIPM Rebuilders, you may convert your purchase to a rental at any time during the first 30 days.

MAKS gives eligible customers another return option.

RENTAL FEES

Rebuilt Units: $120 for the first 10 days, then $12 per additional day.

New Units: 25% of the module value for the first 10 days, then $18 per additional day.

Maximum rental period: 30 days.
