This dark gray mint car features die-cast metal trucks, operating couplers, famous Long Island Rail Road - The Route of Dashing Dan and Lessor Pennsylvania Railroad logos on the sides, plus gold load. The original Lionel box is included. This mint car was manufactured in the USA in 2012 and not published in Lionel catalog. The mint car is seventh in this series. Only 500 of the Long Island RR mint car were made. This mint car was only removed from Lionel box for pictures. Not all packing was removed for pictures. See pictures for details. This Long Island Rail Road mint car will add more interest to your “O” scale train layout.
