Estate collection!  Vintage 16" composition doll in great condition, dressed in vintage clothes & totally display ready!  No marks, but obviously a quality doll, very heavy for size & human hair wig.  Body style was probably made in 1930's to early 1940s. May have been refurbished in distant past, but no sign of repaint. Truly a unique collector's doll!

Face has no crazing, very deep blue sleep eyes, short multi-stroke brows, full intact lashes, heavy eye shadow & unusual pink eyelids; bright red lips with 2 painted teeth. Human hair wig in bobbed style is very clean, thick.

 Firmly stuffed body with mute crier is jointed at shoulder & hip with composition limbs. Patsy style hands. Can stand alone & hold pose.

Darling red dot cotton dress has large collar, back closure with buttons/holes. Vintage slip has button/holes on shoulders, tucks & embroidery trim, matching panties. White leatherette strap shoe & sox. Don't know if vintage clothes are original but they fit perfectly.

Doll & outfit are super clean, no fading, or damage, NO ODORS! 

Minor paint loss on back leg under panties & on some fingers see pics).

 The pink eyelids remind me of early Alexander dolls. If you can identify this cutie, please let me know!  I'm still looking!
