The prices shown are for individual boards, but multiple purchases can be made by inserting the necessary quantity after first  selecting your width and length requirements.  These boards are available in standard lengths from 600mm up to 2400mm.  To ensure the most cost effective carriage rates, the boards are sold on 2 listings.  This listing is for longer boards from 1.5m to 2.4m in length.  Please see our separate listing for shorter boards from 0.6m to 1.2m in length.

General Description:

Shorea spp.  Heartwood varies in colour from pale pink to a light red-brown.  The grain can be interlocked and wavy and tht texture is generally very even. Typically the timber weighs around 550kg/m3.

Uses :

Widely used in furniture and joinery for interior and exterior work.  The timber stains and finishes readily and is ideal for a wide variety of wood crafts.

This timber can be delivered by carrier or collection is possible by arrangement from our works near Eccleshall, Stafford (approximately 9 miles from Junctions 14 or 15 of the M6).  The delivery shown is for mainland UK delivery (England, Wales and Scotland excluding highlands).  Payment should be via PayPal or cash on collection.
