Custom Paints' Metal Flakes are the HIGHEST grade you can buy. They are ultra thin, easy to smooth out and have an outstanding sparkle. Our Flakes are solvent proof and wont fade in sunlight due to their UV coating. We have had 1000's of customers use our flakes and continue to use them due to their quality and durability. Apply our Flakes over any base colour to produce a real custom effect. Add the flake to Automotive Lacquer (solvent or water based) clear base coats, varnish and can also be used for Arts & Crafts.

Application:

Always spray test panels before spraying your product or project to see the effect and ensure it is what you want!

• Start by prepping your project as you would any other paint job. (Sand, Prime, etc.)
• Apply 2-3 coats of Base coat.
• Add the flake to a clear base coat, Lacquer or Flake Carrier and stir well (The amount of flake you add to your carrier will determine how strong/heavy your effect will be)>
• Apply the Flake until you get the effect you desire.
• Apply our 2k Show clear until the flake is completely covered and you have a full gloss finish.

Be aware of cheap products on eBay as many won't be covered by any warranty, Custom Paints Ltd are able to give you a quality product with full backup and guidance on applying our products. All our colours will be available in water base, so you won’t have any trouble matching your colour when solvent paints are not available.

Returns Policy:

Custom Paints Ltd will accept returned items but items must be returned with in 7 days unused and in a re-saleable condition. 

All paint items must be returned with out the bottle being opened. All returns must be sent by a recorded delivery service. Please contact us before returning any items. Thank you.
