Developed a ratchet mechanism with a structure that focuses on the "lightness of idling torque" that is a feature of Ko-ken's ratchet handle. Achieves overwhelming lightness of idling compared to the ratchet mechanism that pushes up the gear with an integrated pawl, which is widely used in the market today. It has the same level of idling torque as the conventional two-jaw system.
Ko-ken's ideal ratchet handle conditions are "light idling torque that allows the ratchet mechanism to function from the beginning to the end of work" and "72-tooth gear that allows work in places where it is difficult to swing." It is a new ratchet handle that has succeeded in fusing "a compact design around the head" at a high level, just like sockets.
The elastomer grip is made by injection molding elastomer resin directly into the handle body, which combines high-quality grip comfort and resistance to abrasion/oils. It prevents troubles such as slipping of the grip and idling due to overuse.
