For those of you that don’t remember, this is one of the greatest endings in World Series history. The Florida Marlins defeated the Cleveland Indians four games to three, winning the decisive Game 7 on a walk-off single by Edgar Renteria to score Craig Counsell. The Marlins became the first wild card team to ever win the Series, in only their fifth season.
