Vintage Pittsburgh Pirates Belt Buckle from the 1970s. This buckle is from a series of promotional buckles distributed by MLB Promotion Corp. This is a great looking buckle, it's in very good condition. The blemishes that you see (Circled in Blue) only appear when tilted at a certain angel, otherwise you can't see them, as shown in the photo preceding the one with the blue circle. It seems to be embedded in the finish because the surface is smooth to the touch. The buckle is lightweight, weighing in at 3 ounces, measuring 2 1/2 inches in diameter, it will fit belts up to 1 1/2 inches in width, which is the standard size in men's belts. The metal and the paint, overall, are in excellent condition, this buckle will make a very fine addition to your sports memorabilia collection.
