This gorgeous 22K gold rimmed 5" Art Deco style fruit / sauce /dessert bowl circa 1925 is in excellent vintage condition.
Fashioned in the much-sought after "Plaza" pattern by Edwin Knowles China Company, this semi-vitreous rimmed bowl measures approximately 5-1/4" in diameter.
Center of the bowl is plain white with an elaborate outer band comprised of spray of pink roses and blue flowers and leaves and an Art Deco-style shield in blue, green and tan.
Edge of the bowl is rimmed in 22K gold. Backside of plate is stamped with the Edwin Knowles hallmark and the style number (23-1-1).
Bowl is in excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs with light, if any, crazing and minimal gold wear.
This beautiful pattern is long discontinued and finding replacements is increasingly difficult. This lot is perfect for replacing a lost or damaged bowl or just to have a spare one on hand in case you do!
