This suits very early steering lock fitted cars - eg Fairlady, early 240Z , 510/1600 etc  Waso steering lock

This key is longer 31mm (vs standard/later universal Waso/VOSS  key which is 27mm).

Longer key allows steering lock to operate as intended - ie to trigger only when key is in lock position and when the key is removed (vs if 27mm shorter key blank - will trigger as soon as key is turned to Lock position.
