Atlas N Scale Code 55 #10 Left-Hand Turnout, comes with nickel silver rail and molded fine brown ties.  The turnouts have a metal frog that can be powered and a throw bar extending to both sides of the points.  No. 10 Turnouts are longer and feature a gentler diverging route curvature than smaller-numbered turnouts.  This track is part of the Atlas Code 55 track line and has the same reliability and durability as Atlas' Code 80 track, but with a more realistic rail and tie profile to make it look more true-to-life.      

What is Code 55 track?  Atlas' N scale Code 55 track (brown ties) was designed with the scale modeler in mind.  Featuring simulated fine brown ties and a lower rail profile (0.055") than N scale Code 80 track (black ties and 0.080" rail height), Atlas' N scale Code 55 track is quickly becoming a favorite of N scale modelers everywhere.  As with all Atlas track product, you can expect durability, flexibility and reliability with the new N scale Code 55 Track.  The entire Atlas N scale Code 80,  Code 55 and Code 65 True-Track with Roadbed lines are available from The Train Connection, including switches, crossings, straight and radius pieces, allowing you to create any one of a number of interesting and exciting layouts, including layouts in Atlas' popular N scale layout instruction books.  

Please note: Some older rolling stock may have problems on N scale Code 55 track because of the wheels that do not comply with NMRA standards.  You can run your favorite cars on the Atlas N scale Code 55 track by simply fitting your existing cars with a low-profile wheel set available from Atlas and several other manufacturers.
