More about this stamp: This stamp was issued in Hawaii on January 2, 1976 to coincide with the increase in international airmail postage rates. 

A bit more history: The United States Post Office issued its first stamp on July 1, 1847. Since that time, over 5000 stamps have been released. Each stamp is given its own identification number called a Scott Number. This stamp has been designated as Scott Number C90.
