More about this stamp - In 1997, the USPS issued The World of Dinosaurs commemorative stamps in a souvenir sheet.  The sheet features a total of 15 different prehistoric animals and was designed by James Gurney of Rhinebeck, New York.  

The top of the sheet features the Colorado region of 150 million years ago and shows the the Ceratosaurus, Camptosaurus, Camarasaurus, Brachiosaurus, Goniopholis, Stegosaurus, Allosaurus, and Opisthias. The bottom of the sheet features the Edmontonia, Einiosaurus, Daspletosaurus, Palaeosaniwa, Corythosaurus, Ornithomimus, and Parasaurolophus from the  Montana region of approximately 75 million years ago. 

A bit more history: The United States Post Office issued its first stamp on July 1, 1847. Since that time, over 5000 stamps have been released. Each stamp is given its own identification number called a Scott Number. This stamp has been designated as Scott Number 3136e.
