Vintage Fisher Price Black Horse 1968-69 Farm Oval Eyes No Lashes Metal Rivet

In okay overall condition for it's age.  Has a fair amount of marks and rubs from age and play.  Also has some yellowing to the mane and socks.  See all pics!

This is the OLDEST, RAREST and HARDEST TO FIND version of this Horse (also known as Horace the Horse)!

This particular horse is one of the oldest models dating back to 1968 - 1969!  This horse has the metal hex shaped rivet in the body and has NO wording molded on the body.  See pic 11.  The oldest horses have a metal rivet through their belly and no wording (which would read MADE IN HONG KONG).

This horse also has the white oval eyes with NO eyelashes.

The joints are all fairly tight (except for the tail which is always loose).  See next to last pic to see it standing upright.  I had one of these horses as a kid with my FP castle and this pose was always one of my favorite things to do with them so I had to recreate it for this listing, lol!  I would pretend they were rearing up!

This would go well with either the Farm or the Castle playsets, but this one is definitely linked to the earliest Farm playset.  See last pic to see the information I found online about this particular horse!  I have outlined the stuff pertaining to this particular horse in red boxes!
