This is the gearlever (UK) or more commonly known in the US as a shifter, for the 1953-1955 Austin-Healey 100 using the A70 transmission (often called the taxi box). This is the last one for LHD vehicles (1B3630)  All chrome is intact, however, not suitable for concours standards.
There were two releases of this transmission with different gear cuts, but this same shifter was common to both.  The early gears fit to transmision #5145 at that point a stronger, modified gear angle was used thru to end of production.  This lever does not fit the BN2 side shift Westminster A90 4-speed gearbox. It does however, fit all the side shift 3-speed (side mounting adaptor shown for clarity) which bolts onto the gearbox to convert from steering column to floor shift control.

All threads have been run with a proper 3/8 x 20 BSF die and were cleaned and repaired to receive the chrome lock nuts shown (often a problem with these old parts).
Since we have sold most of these, and this is our last one, we dropped the price-MAKE ME A REASONABLE OFFER!

Auction is for ONE lever (no lock nuts available-but they are supplied with shift knob). Car and adaptor are not included in auction.
