Satsuma blue/white Kutani Ginger Jar Japan peacock.

This is a Japanese Ginger Jar with a removable lid, hand painted by the Japanese Gold Imari Co with the peacock and floral pattern design.

It is beautifully painted blue with gold accents and a white porcelain background. It stands about 10"tall w/lid lid, 11 inches,deep, 8 inches at its widest point,

tapers slightly to a 6 inch base, blue under glaze mark on bottom marked SATSUMA . It is in excellent condition, with no chips in porcelain or paint to be found
