235 Alternator Conversion Brackets
This listing is for an alternator conversion mounting brackets that fit a Chevy / GMC 6 cylinder 235 engine. It is designed to upgrade a vehicle to use a late model alternator. The bracket set will covert a vehicle that was originally equipped with a generator to a more efficient current model alternator. Brackets utilize the stock pulleys and is designed to fit with the stock passenger car air cleaner. Designed for 55-62 Chevy 6 Cylinders 235 In-line engines. Fits alternators with 2" wide pivot mounting flange.
** WILL NOT FIT 54 AND EARLIER ENGINES.
Note: This bracket was designed so that it may be used with the factory 55-57 motor mount that fits between the alternator mounting tabs.
Brackets are made from 1/4 mild steel plate, Laser cut, then formed. They are finished off with a durable semi gloss black powder coat finish.

- 1 - 3/8" x 7" Through Bolt
- 1 - Spacer Sleeve
