Up for sale is a rare vintage 1978 Papa Gino's John Mayberry Collectors's Series Baseball Card Disc #40. Ralph is a beloved former Toronto Blue Jays first baseman.

The condition is "acceptable" for its age, which is judged to be "very good" in this instance.  Please read the description very carefully. Imperfections include surface scratches, miscellaneous marks, edge/perimeter wear, soiling, fading, yellowing, color loss and discoloration due to age, and some indentations and dings. There's a stain to the right of the player's shoulder to the left of the Major League Baseball logo. There's also a few blue marks where the white and blue areas meet on the front of the disc.

Despite its many flaws it would make a nice addition to the collection of any John Mayberry or Toronto Blue Jays fan, or vintage "oddball" baseball card collector. It is #40 of the 40 card set. Please see photos for more information.

1978 Papa Gino's Discs is a 40-disc set distributed by the New England-based pizza chain. Each disc is 3 3/8" in diameter. The set was produced by Mike Schechter Associates (MSA), and as with most MSA produced products, is not licensed by Major League Baseball. As such, all team logos have been airbrushed. The first 25 discs are of the Boston Red Sox; appropriate considering the chain's location.
