It took 6 years and countless test by dermatologists and ophthalmologists to develop this nail enamel specifically for those who suffer from allergies or with skin sensitivity. According to Clinique, nail polishes can be an allergen source, especially since we touch our eyes 200 times a day, so it was important to develop a collection of nail lacquers to relieve eyes sensitivity and even dermatitis. The high gloss formula is chip resistant for 7 days of wear when used in tandem with A Different Nail Enamel Base and Top Coat for Sensitive Skins. The collection launched in 2013 but has been discontinued.
