** This is the new control that prevents the coil from icing up. It is called a Constant on control.

You must insert the end of the sensor at least 6" into the evaporator.

It will sense the temp of the evaporator.

You can control the desired temperature by the control knob.

Once the temp is reached the thermostat will automatically come on at 41 degrees preventing the evaporator from icing up.

It's a great fool proof control, very forgiving to system mismatches.

We have been using this control on all coolers since 1979, 43 years so we know it works great!

It's like having an automatic defrost timer in the cold control.

Remember, you must insert the end of the sensing tube at least 6" into the evaporator coil between the fins or into a sensing tube if your eveporator coil has a sensing tube.

If your evaporator coil is not 6" deep then you can carefully bend the end of the sensor 3" in, 180 degrees which will give you 6" of sensing surface.
