AutoTopoff Dual Sensor ATO

Basic and reliable water level controller using two high quality magnetic reed float switches.  We've found float switches to be the most reliable style of ATO sensor!   

You'll need a reservoir, pump, and some tubing to complete your ATO system.  The primary float switch has a pvc surround to prevent interference from inhabitants and excess on/off switching from waves and water turbulence.  Mount the float switch to the bracket with the included zip ties at your desired water level and mount the second fail-safe float switch sensor above it.

Requires 2" x 2" x 9" high for mounting.  1" Bracket will hang on tanks with walls up to 1" thick.  Message me if you'd prefer a 0.5" or 1.5" bracket

Power switching is done with a 10 amp double pole relay wired using both sets of contacts to reduce contact wear and provides you an additional switch for redundancy.

You can also reverse the operation of the fail-safe switch so it acts as run-dry protection instead.  To do this remove the float retaining clip, flip the float around so the magnets inside are orientated down, reinstall the clip.  This makes the ATO turn on power when the primary float is down and the second float is up.  Power turns off if either the primary float goes up or the second float goes down.
