Each packet contains 3 pairs (8 mint stamps)  featuring the 1992 29c Cosmonaut and Astronaut stamps.

These unused stamps and in very good condition and are postage lots - to be used for mailing or crafts.   They are sold as it, and not intended as collectibles.

About these stamps:  In 1992, the United States and Russia jointly collaborated and issued stamps to feature the most important achievements of the space program.  Identical in design, the US stamps were issued at 29c and the Russian stamps were 25 rubles. The stamps were designed by Robert McCall of Arizona and Vladimir Beilin of Russia.   This pair of United States stamps show two scenes.  The stamp on the left features a cosmonaut and the US space shuttle.  The right stamp portrays a US astronaut with the Russian space station.

A bit more history: The United States Post Office issued its first stamp on July 1, 1847. Since that time, over 5000 stamps have been released. Each stamp is given its own identification number called a Scott Number. These stamps has been designated as Scott Number 2631 and 2632.
