Beautiful, US Postage Stamps ready for your letters, cards, or crafts.  Each packet contains 2 pane blocks of 4 stamps featuring American Streetcars.  These stamps were first issued in 1983, at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, Maine, to commemorate America's first major form of mass transportation, the streetcar.   Each pane has 1 stamp depicting the St. Charles streetcar in New Orleans; the "Bobtail" horsecar in Arkansas; the first electric streetcar in Montgomery, Alabama; and the first streetcar (horsecar) in New York City.

These unused stamps and in very good condition and are postage lots - to be used for mailing or crafts.   They are sold as it, and not intended as collectibles.

A bit of history: The United States Post Office issued its first stamp on July 1, 1847. Since that time, over 5000 stamps have been released. Each stamp is given its own identification number called a Scott Number. These stamps have been designated as Scott Number 2062a.
