The STS-E adapter provides wired Ethernet connectivity and simultaneous charging capability (SimulCharge) for select Samsung tablets.


LAVA's SimulCharge technology allows the tablet to operate as a USB Host while

continuously charging the battery.


Standard USB OTG Adapters do not allow the tablet to be charged while operating with USB accessories.


This intelligent adapter is designed for robust operation allowing rapid switching between SimulCharge and Charge-Only mode


The LAVA product can be switched into Charge-Only mode to rapidly replenish the battery in the same manner as USB Charger with a Direct Charge Port (DCP).


The STS-E can be used on its own, or as part of a third-party enclosure solution, supporting a variety of kiosk-type applications.

The Tab S2 and Tab E require STS-** products built after 2016-04-12
* Samsung Galaxy Tab E (9.6″) running Android ver 5.x.x and above. Non-North American 4.x.x versions may not work.
** Samsung Galaxy Tab A (9.7″) North American model requires a LAVA micro-USB cable length of 19″ (50cm) or less.
*** Samsung Galaxy Tab A (10.1″) North American model was tested with build MMB29K.T580UEU1APG1.
**** Samsung Galaxy Tab A (9.7″) Europe and UK models may not work with any cable length, Model SM-T555 with Build: LRX22G.T555XXU1AOJ1 does not work.
