Presenting a stunning vintage Stuart cut crystal comport.
This comport features a beautiful lightly flared rim which flows down to a wonderful tear drop stem stopped by a stepped Art Deco design. The stem continues to flow from this to be stopped by a well proportioned knop at its footed base.
A pattern of stars which have been expertly cut appear to its body and is easy to see why it is known as "Startime". This crystal comport also has a superb resonance "ring" when lightly tapped.
The base has the words
"STUART ENGLAND"
acid etched to its base.
A wonderful addition to any Stuart, Crystal or Art Deco collection!!!
This comport measures 16.3cm in diameter at its rim and stands 17cm tall.
Presented in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
There are minor signs of expected age related wear and use however this is mentioned more for total accuracy.
The crystal remains clear and vibrant and still maintains a beautiful lustre and shine.
It presents beautifully!!!
