Presenting a beautiful set of four vintage signed Australian pottery tumblers made by Irene Daisy Lucas in the 1960s.
These pottery tumblers feature a wonderful form. The ovoid cylindrical shaped body of the tumblers balance perfectly in the hand and are a real delight to hold and use.
The glaze is lovely with a Blue colour over lapped by a dark metallic glaze with differing tones lightly and randomly dripping down the sides to certain areas of each vessel. One features brown tones with highlights of pink which melds amazingly.
The overall effect is just beautiful.
Each piece is fully signed to the underside of the base as pictured.
A wonderful set to add to any household.
These tumblers measure 7.5cm at their widest part in diameter and stand 11.4cm tall. Being hand made there are minor variations to the sizes of each piece.
This set is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
Extremely minor age related wear due to age and is mentioned for accuracy.
They display magnificently!!!
