This is an original design, made and assembled by me.
Lens cover housing is 3D printed PLA+.
Aperture housing is aluminum, including metal shaft inside focus lever.
2 Mil thick quality glass lens protector
All set in optical grade epoxy. Extremely durable.
Some key features include:
- Provides the ability to see objects at all distances without adjusting the focus on Night Vision Goggles.
- Infinitely variable from open to close to allow the optimal amount of light into the NVGs and maintain auto-focus capability.
- Clear front sacrificial lens to protect lens of NVGs
- Rapid adaptation to ambient light by turning the adjustment ring, opening or closing the iris.
- Easy and secure attachment to the end of NVGs.
Q and A
My lens cover is tight to get on eyepiece:
--Be very careful not to push on the glass lens. Use a very light coat of grease on the inside of the cover and push on evenly.
Sometimes putting the cap face down and pushing the devices lens into it works best. Controlled even pressure is necessary.
My lens cover is loose on eyepieces:
--There are variants of the pvs14 lenses and dimensions can be slightly different amongst different manufacturers of them.
For a fix, you can wrap a layer of electrical tape around the eyepiece and slide the lens cover over.
Can I get a different color than black?
-- We also offer Coyote Brown, Army Green, Knight Gray, Tan.
If you do not include a note or message with alternate color option, you will be sent black.
Im seeing 2 different versions, 1 "knurled" and 1 "cog style"?
