Product Description
The first batch of James E. Pepper Kentucky Rye Whiskey, matured in American oak before being finished in Oloroso sherry seasoned casks. Bottled as a 3 year old and at 50% abv, this was a release of 1622 bottles.
TASTING NOTES
Colour
Nose: Toasted oats, barley and sticky dates.
Palate: A flood of sweetness, followed by cinnamon, cloves and warming spices.
Finish: Spices fade away to a creamy, buttery flavour.
