This large work is organised into three parts, from the Alps to the Arno, from the Arno to the Tiber and from the Tiber to Etna and celebrates Italy as the Land of Wonders. 

With one hundred and three full page illustrations and three hundred smaller engravings.
Collated, complete.


CONDITION

In the publisher's original full vellum binding. Externally, generally lovely with a mark to the to the lower quarter of the front board. A previous owner inscription to the page after the front free endpaper dated 1882. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
