Angus Sinclair, a Scot, emmigrated to the US, and developed a successful career in the railways there. He became the proprietor of Railway and Locomotive Engineering, an illustrated monthly publication with a circulation among railroad men, and soon became a recognized leader in the better education of railroad men.
