Wow, this is a fabulous book!  1929 illustrated Bambi by Felix Salten.  Besides being an all-time classic - it's a lovely book to look at.  Vivid lime green and black cover and amazing lime green and silver end papers in the inside front and back covers.  Totally an art deco design. The illustrations are numerous and beautiful.  This would be a beautiful addition to any library or a great introduction to classic literature for a young reader.
