I AM OFFERING A REPAIR KIT FOR A DIY REPAIR TO YOUR VINTAGE FOOT CONTROL.

IF YOU HAVE EITHER HEARD A CRACKLING, SMOKES, OR RUNS ON IT'S OWN, IT'S MOST LIKELY TO
BE THE SUPPRESSOR FILTER CAPACITOR THAT HAS FAILED.

IN PICTURES 1 TO 6 SHOWS THE NEW TYPE OF CAPACITOR NOW FITTED.

PICTURE 7 ONWARDS SHOWS THE TYPE OF OLD CAPACITORS, THAT ARE NORMALLY FOUND IN THIS TYPE OF CONTROL.

ALSO PICTURED IS A SINGLE TYPE THAT CAN BE FOUND BURNT OUT INSIDE SOME CONTROLS.

THEY'RE ARE MANY OTHERS, SOME HAVE PLUGS ON THE END, WHICH PLUGS INTO THE MOTOR. SOME ARE WIRED DIRECT INTO THE MOTOR. THEY ARE ALL VERY SIMILAR.

The listing is for one capacitor to replace the blown one in your vintage foot pedal.

The replacement capacitor is a new modern updated design from PANASONIC not cheap a rubbish clone from China. The old fashion one will most likely be a Riffa/Kemmet.

There are two types of foot pedal, one has a detachable lead (plugs into
pedal), and a hard wired one which is permanently wired to pedal.

When you open the pedal the capacitor will most likely be blown or burnt.

You just need to remove the old one and install the supplied one. It's that simple.
