Product Overview
250ml Solvent Cement for ABS and PVC plastic plumbing. Can be used for bonding non-pressure, thermoplastic pipe systems. Provides excellent adhesion and sealing action even where there are gaps between the surfaces to be bonded (up to 0.8mm). Comes with internal sponge ball applicator attached to lid.
Directions:-
1. Cut pipe square. Mark pipe OD equal to socket depth.
2. Clean joining surface.
3. Apply cement to pipe. Apply cement to fitting. Apply again to pipe.
4. Insert pipe fully into fitting while cement is still wet. Wipe off excess cement. Hold together for 10 sec. 5. Do not move joint for 10 minutes.
Pipe assembly is recommended at temperatures above 5C.
Allowable gap 0.8mm. Cap may require a set of grips for initial opening.
