Pharmacological Effects:

Expectorant. It contains a mixture of polysaccharides from medicinal herbs marshmallow. It has expectorant properties - due to reflex stimulation enhances the activity of ciliated epithelium and peristalsis of the respiratory bronchioles, combined with increased secretion of bronchial glands. Sodium hydrogen liquefies phlegm and increases the number of bronchial secretions.

Indications:

Acute and chronic respiratory diseases, accompanied by the formation of sputum increased viscosity (bronchitis, COPD, bronchiectasis, pneumonia, emphysema, pneumoconiosis, etc.).

Dosage and administration:

Mukaltin taken orally, 50-100 mg before meals 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment - 7-14 days. Children can dissolve the tablet in 1/3 cup warm water.

Side effects:

dyspeptic disorders (including nausea), rarely - allergic reactions.

Contraindications:
