Title:  Gladiators versus Beasts, Venatores (Hunters)

Intro

This expansion for Avalon Hill Gladiator (1981)  board game will introduce some of the major animal adversaries that participated in the arena. An additional form of gladiator, the venatores is also be incorporated (uses existing counters). 

The expansion is oriented in two major directions. 

First, a solitaire play version of Gladiator vs. Beast, will be introduced. The solitaire variant will hopefully provide an enjoyable method for players to sharpen their gladiatorial skills. 

Second, it will allow for multi-player (two or more) combat, where at least one of the players controls the actions of a beast.

Excellent condition unused.  

Note

There is a choice of the number of plastic stands included with the listing, you'll probably need more than in the original game. IMHO 6 is probably just enough but I've offered the choice of 6/12/18/25

Excellent condition unused Variant/Expansion for Gladiator allowing animals to be included in the arena. 

Consists of 

• 15  1 5/8" x 1" counters, these are
• 3 x Lion, 3 x Tiger, 3 x Leopard, 3 x walking Bear, 3 x Standing bear

• 10 1" x 1" counters, these are
• 10 x Wolves

• 1 hit record sheet printed on cards 
• 3 page of rules/supporting article 
• 6 black stands.  

The hit record sheets  cards are printed on 200gms card. 

The counters have been re-manufactured printed on waterproof glossy paper and mounted on 1.5mm card.  Requires the original game to play.
