Miniature Award CROSS of

“ The ARCHANGEL MICHAEL” on original award ribbon rosette .

The ARCHANGEL MICHAEL Cross reward for bravery for the white troops who fought on the URAL front in 1918, the URAL Military Circle . The Cross was stamped from copper and worn on the ribbon of the Ural Cossack army- crimson. In the centre of cross was placed a medallion with the a spear, and on the cross itself there was a relief inscription :

“ For FAITH, MOTHERLAND, YAIK and FREEDOM.”

YAIK - denoted the ancient name of the Ural River.

On the reverse side of the cross, the serial number of the recipient was engraved.

A cross and a medal were minted in the city of OMSK

on the original Ural Cossack Army ribbon rosette
