Florida ALLIGATOR in Green Swamp River  Reptile Silver Springs FL Postcard

This postcard has an image of an alligator with his mouth open as he rests on the bank of a swampy area. He is dark and seems to have a tint of green against the green mossy grass and plants floating in the water.  Not a crocodile.

ON THE BACK:  "Florida Alligator.  This mighty reptile lives in many of the swamps and rivers in Florida.  Males grow to 12 feet, weigh between 450 and 500 pounds."
