Product Description

The 2019 release of the Laphroaig Cask Strength 25 year is here. This should be on everyones 'must try' whisky list.

This has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry casks for a quarter of a century, before being bottled at cask strength. Waves of rich peat smoke mingle with warm spices, dried fruits and oak spice throughout the palate.


TASTING NOTES

Sweet vanilla and wood spice, smoke and TCP, though restrained, some smoked bacon, with underlying dried fruit added to the mix.Very creamy and rich, with a full texture, peppery, spicy, iodine, saline and smokiness. There's also a little green apple fruit.Very long and layered, waves of rich smoke and a peppery conclusion.

Colour
