This CDI and Connector Kit can be used on many Honda ATC's and XR XL Models as well The wiring instructions are standard accross most models.
Before replacing your CDI, Make Sure to test all other Electrical systems first before replacement. Stator Coil, Wire Harness From Stator to CDI Plug, Pulse Generator and wires from Pulse Gen to CDI Plug. Test ignition coil , wire and spark plug boot. Test Run Switch circuit. The only way to diagnose a bad CDI on these models is to confirm everything else works, or swap with known good CDI. These tests are not rocket science by any means, a $10 Voltmeter and access to your Stator plug , CDI plug and Frame or engine Grounds are all you need. Removal of the Fuel Tank is recommended to gain access to your CDI plug and frame ground at the ignition coil.

ATC200ES OEM CDI Includes reverse safety circuit, ( grey wire ) this conversion does not incorperate that circuit. Do not hook up the grey wire.
Black Goes to Harness Black or Black with white stripe depending on model. ( Controls Spark on / off aka run / off )
Blue Goes to Harness Blue / Yellow ( Controls Pulse Coil )
Green Goes to Harness Green ( Harness Ground )
Red Goes to Harness Black With Red Stripe ( Ignition Power From Stator )
Yellow Goes to Harness Black With Yellow ( Spark From CDI to Ignition Coil )
