1960s Georges Briard Firenza Cocktail Highball Blue Green Gold (7).


Available is this set of seven vintage mid-century highball cocktail glasses made by Georges Briard in the Firenza pattern. The glasses measure 5 1/2" tall and 2 3/4" in diameter with a capacity of 10 ounces. The design is blue and green with an ornate gold pattern. Firenza Pattern 1960s - 70s: Blue Green with a Gold Cross Fleurish themed after Italian Renaissance architecture in Florence Italy, it can be found in highballs and lowball glasses. While vintage and pre-owned, these glasses are in great condition and ready to use for entertaining.


The designer: Georges Briard (May 17, 1917 – July 30, 2005 New York) was an American designer in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. He is most well known for his signature dishware and glassware - everything from cups and plates to gold plated serving dishes. His signature collection was stocked at noted department stores, such as Neiman Marcus and Bonwit Teller.


These have been kept behind glass doors for 2-3 decades. Smoke free and pet free home.
