ANTIQUE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE CORPORATION ADVERTISING SMALL BARREL-SHAPED STEEL SAVINGS COIN BANK

This is an antique steel constructed barrel shaped savings coin bank. This bank advertises on the top brass nameplate tag for "Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Member $10,000 Maximum Insurance for Each Depositor". The bottom of the barrel bank has a place to put the coins in that end. We don't have the key for opening it though. The banks used to hold these. Bank is in worn condition overall for its age with some natural patina wear present. Please see pictures for design and condition detail. Measures 2 and 3/4" tall by about 2" in diameter at widest portion.  Wonderful old small steel savings barrel bank would be a great find for your collection. Don't miss it.
