This cable is 6 feet long with two 6-pin RJ-12 male ends for 12V applications. Technically, a 6-wire to 6-pin configuration is called 6P6C with a RJ-12 end, but it's commonly referred to by the similar RJ-11 nomenclature.

There is no such thing as a universal point of sale cable, so the pin-outs will differ widely for different brands and models. It is commonly used to connect peripherals, like a bump bar or printer with a serial port, and is often used in conjunction with serial adapter 1639-K159 (not included).

This is a common part with various NCR / Aloha / Radiant Systems POS, including the Counterpoint and P-series (P1215 / 7742, P1220, P1235, P1515, P1520, P1530, P1535, Columbus800, etc).
