Up for auction is a signed promotional print poster from the exhibition A Process of Design: Drawings and Sketches by Le Corbusier to Guillaume Jullian de la Fuente, which was held at the Johnson Museum on the Cornell University campus from March 7 - April 22, 1984. I contacted both Cornell and the Museum, and they told me that in 1984, Guillaume Jullian de la Fuente was a visiting critic in the Architecture Department at Cornell and organized the exhibition at the museum.
The print is 21” x 21” and is titled:
A process of design: drawings and sketches by Le Corbusier to Guillaume Jullian de la Fuente
Cornell Architecture
March 7 to April 23 1984 Herbert F. Johnson Museum
It appears to have been signed by Guillaume Jullian de la Fuente at the event although I can't authenticate the signature. I have compared it to his signature on some of his other works and it looks like a match. The print also came with instructions for poster assembly where the poster and invite into the event could be turned into modern art. I don’t have the original invite, just the signed poster and instructions.
This belonged to my sister’s father-in-law who passed away in 2016. The print does have some small stains and marks across the top. It is likely that it has sat rolled inside a tube since 1984 and has never been framed. The print has some creasing from being rolled and time. See photos. You get exactly what is shown in the photos. Please contact me with any questions.
