Presenting a vintage Italian art glass Empoli footed bowl.
This piece holds a great form. The Bowl has been blown to include a great tight dimple effect within the glass. This creates great optics as light passes through.
From the bowl the applied stem features a fantastic twist design which adds another element of interest and contrast to the optical bowl.
This is balanced beautifully by the wide circular foot. The finished result is beautiful and interesting.
This piece still retains its original red paper sticker as pictured.
This piece of glass measures 15.5 cm in diameter at its widest at the bowl and stands 25.5cm tall.
Presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
There are some inclusions in the glass being air bubbles and some debris which is common with hand blown pieces. I have pictured this. These however in no way detract and were done during the glass blowing process.
The underside of the footed base carries typical age related wear marks mentioned for accuracy.
It displays magnificently!!!
