 We have heard over the years: " I can not wear these because my hair is too thin or it is too thick." This is not true at all. So here is what you can do: 
* If your hair is long enough for a ponytail our handmade barrettes will work!
* You can put your hair up in an elastic hair band then use the wood stick to spear through the hairband!
The barrette will not slip off because it is trapped above the hair band and you do not have to surround all of your hair. If you like to put your hair up in a bun put it in a ponytail first then twist your hair up and add the barrette. Our family has been making handmade leather item for over 60 years we have found no one who could not wear our barrettes.
