Part male Voice Acapella of Cornish and Traditional Christmas Songs
With an incredibly strong tradition of carol singing, Cornwall has produced a great number of fabulous carols or 'curls' as some would say. Nedelik Kernewk is a collection of a few of our favorite festive songs to sing, featuring many of the great Cornish composers from Merritt to Broad. We have combined these Cornish carols along with other songs which have found a home here in Cornwall.
On a special note we are delighted to include to fanatic Cornish carols, Angles from the Realms of Glory and Arise and Hail, transcribed from a recording of the Pendeen Miners Choir in 1942. To our knowledge, this is the first time these pieces have been recorded of 80 years.

“Hit
and Miss were formed after a group of school friends were heard
singing with the regular singers of the Blue Anchor Inn Helston one
Spring evening in 2017. It was pointed out that we should form a
group to perform for the ‘Helstonbury’ festival in the coming
August of that year. This we duly did and after being very well
received, we entered ‘Helstonbury’ 2018 with a little more
rehearsing under our belts. Since then we have gone from strength to
strength taking on many other engagements across West Cornwall. We
thoroughly enjoy singing together and are proud of our reputation for
continuing Cornwall's musical heritage and our rich fourpart
harmonies.” - Samuel Trounson
