We've especially ordered the poster promoting Truposz (Dead Man) for the Polska Szkoła Plakatu from Polish British graphic designer Andrzej Klimowski. It is the first edition print of the poster, not a reprint of the previously released poster. In the early 1990s Klimowski designed five posters for Jim Jarmusch's first five films; unfortunately "Night on Earth" was the last poster designed by Klimowski in this series of posters. Truposz appeared in Polish cinemas with the help of a new distributor at the time, and exemplifies the model of the photographic montage poster.
Designed and printed in 2017 the poster for Dead Man is as much a homage to the extraordinary film as it is to the brilliant director behind it. The poster is printed on chalk overlay paper (art paper) just like the other posters in the Jarmusch series. This poster is one for lovers of good cinema, Jim Jarmusch, Johnny Depp, Neil Young and William Blake.

Our newly established company Polska Szkola Plakatu (Polish School of Poster) deals in publishing reprints of classic Polish posters. All posters are printed on offset paper, a kind of paper that is similar to the paper that these posters were originally printed on. All posters are printed to match the size and dimension of the original edition. Each poster has been printed in a limited edition of 500. The footer which replaces the original printing footer on each poster include our company logo, website, information about the artist as well as the year when this poster was reprinted. We have all appropriate agreements with authors or their heirs for this project; all the legal parameters have been taken care of. We also offer postcards (format 11.8 cm x 16.5 cm ; 4.65 inch x 6.5 inch) and fridge magnets (format 5.5 cm x 8 cm ; 2.17 inch x 3.15 inch) of each reprinted design.
