DESCRIPTION

Originally written by the English veterinary surgeon William Youatt (1776–1847), this thirteenth edition has been "re-written, considerably enlarged, and brought up to the present requirements of agricultural practice" by William Fream.

Profusely illustrated throughout.


CONDITION

In a half straight-grain morocco binding with cloth covered boards. Externally, boards a little rubbed but otherwise smart. Backstrip rather more worn with some bumping and closed tears to head and tail. Hinges held by cords only. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with only occasional spots and marks, most notably small ink stain to upper fore-edge of first few pages. Royal Agricultural College stamps to title and half title.
