This book is undated, but I believe to date from 1936 or earlier (see below). 

The book does not have a dust jacket. 

This book is in a really lovely vintage condition. There are wonderful illustrations by Noel Hope throughout the book. The pictorial cover is beautifully illustrated, as you can see from the photos. The boards are in a really good state, with just minimal wearing to the edges. The spine is in a very good condition, again, with just a little wearing to the top and bottom. Inside the pages are tanned and there is light foxing and tanning to the inside of the boards and the endpapers and the title pages and on page 88, 89 and 96. There is an inscription in pen on the front free endpaper that states “With good wishes from Mr. & Mrs. Stewart. Christmas 1936”. There are no further pen or pencil marks inside this book. Besides the aforementioned, the pages are in a clean, uncreased, neat and unripped condition. The binding is tight. All 96 pages are present. Please study the photos carefully as to the condition of this book, as they do form part of the description. 

This measures approximately 19 cm by 12.8 cm and 2.3 cm wide. It weighs approximately 206 grams.
