Vintage Gruen Precision Autowind 480 calibre movement, Fully working with working subsiduary second dial, and keeping excellent time.

The "style" number of the case (742) dates the watch precisely to 1951.

The watch has not been serviced for about 6 or 7 years, but is still keeping excellent time. Has only been worn by myself maybe about 10-15 times during the 10 years I've owned it.

The photos show the lovely condition of the piece, complete with lovely clean crystal, Wadsworth 10k RGP case & original "Gruen" marked crown all of which is in EXCELLENT condition and not "rubbed through" anywhere, and the original two tone "harlequin" dial. The only small downside being the slight crazing of the dial around the "1" & "2" o'clock position which is FAR more visible in the photographs than when viewed normally due to the magnification of the photos.

The strap and buckle are in very good condition and perfectly wearable, though I would imagine a buyer will replace the strap to suit their own taste.

The watch will be sent fully tracked and insured by Royal Mail.
